Even when a male is a valued partner, his efforts and requirements are collateral to the bearing and birth of a child.
As to the matter at hand, the story presented by Kennedy and Oz, two creatures who, as yet, have not received proper training or data about the human condition, they make it up as they go along.

'The Population Bomb.' was published in either 1979 or 1980. Briefly, it predicted that, before long, the earth would be populated by more humans that it could sustain. Despite the book's popularity, for some time it main idea was mostly ignored. However, it's message was that, going forward, in a normal manner, we had to birth fewer babies than would meet the replacement number. While it may not all be due to a desire to cut the population, it is finally happening. If we continue it, we can slowly reduce the over all population to a reasonably supportable number, ending such things as most hunger, poverty and disease.
But that is not what the fascist theory desires. It wants a great number of controllable humans, slaves if you will, to do the necessary menial jobs. Fascists also fear women, since they are more capable than most men. If they are kept at home as regular breeders, it's the fascist's thought that they will have no time to learn, to invent, to create, nor to be a partner in the full sense of the word. That's why Project 2025 would make women the property of their husbands, with the men the only ones who can divorce a mate. That is always a big part of the fascist downfall. Not all women or men are perfect. But most women do constructive things other than breeding and that number is far greater than for men, who prefer to sit around, boozing and lying, mostly by putting forth a bullshit story about how many female conquests they've had. Sorry men, I'm one of you on the one hand, but when it comes to improving the human condition, I side with the women and what most fulfills them. my 40 year relationship with my significant other gets better every day. I just want to live longer, in order to see how much more amazing she becomes over time.
Mothers in our culture work their asses off with so little support. I chose to be an aunt / support for my friends who wanted to be moms. the whole nuclear family thing is not really beneficial to mothers or children. the other evening i was sitting an outdoor bar -- a friend had recently adopted a puppy -- that puppy got passed around to everyone in our circle including restaurant staff. we all took a turn entertaining and caring for him. i think child-rearing should be more like that. yes this administration is ramping up the cruelty, but capitalism-patriarchy has never been about what women or families need.
I agree completely. Mothers were never meant to carry child-rearing inside isolated little units with almost no communal support. Not to mention utterly unhealthy ultra processed foods that form the diet of the majority of Americans. And yes, male sperm count has fallen over the past five decades or so. I am not arguing that the Trump regime is kowtowing to religious fundies who want to shove women and minorities back to the 1850s. I just hate that this repressive movement is tied to a genuine concern about how unhealthy modern industry and life are to human beings and nature.
